Are you medically curious? Not just a little, but really curious? You spend your whole life in the same body. As a physician, I’m astounded by how little you know about that wonderful creation. Almost daily, you hear – and repeat – all the correct terms: CAT scan, diabetes, carpal tunnel, strep throat, rotator cuff, COPD, etc. The sad part is that most of you haven’t a clue what those really are!I wrote R U Medically Curious? to help change all that. My name is Dr. Larry Romane. I’m board certified in Emergency Medicine and spent 35 years as an ER doc. Since retiring, I spend my time teaching and writing about medicine. My premise is simple: provide evidence based medical knowledge at a high school reading level. My journals, textbooks, and experience provide the knowledge.
