Synopsis

In this fantasy satirical dramedy screenplay about prohibition and war, the wealthiest couple in the United States – humble Washington-state apple orchardists Hope and Albert Arthur – make a liquid food supplement from apples, called Confidence, that secretly fuels the confidence of America's leading celebrities. To the detriment of America's sports, art and entertainment industries, Hope and Albert trade the secret to making Confidence to the U.S. military in order to get their son Tom out of the nation's popular longstanding war. But when Congress prohibits the civilian use of Confidence and nationalizes its production for the nation's war efforts, then Hope and Albert take even more drastic measures to save their interests and those of the nation.

Kurt St. Angelo, J.D. is an alumnus of the University of Sweden, Lund (1977), Pomona College (1978), the Robert H. McKinney School of Law (1986), Toastmasters International and Nicotine Anonymous. He is a retired attorney and author of the law books: BUSTED - A Whistleblower's Guide to the War on Drugs (2015) and America's Republican Form of Government (2017).
