Janet lives in the Mitten state with her husband and Welsh terrier, Maggie May. They all migrate to Florida for the winter, where Janet drags herself off the tennis court occasionally to write her books about the wild/shorebirds of Florida and beyond. Her piano gets lonely because she chooses to whack fuzzy yellow balls instead of tickling its keys.
