A native of Woodruff, South Carolina, Derek  Jones is president  and founder of Ap2w, LLC, a company established to provide motivation and inspiration through books, public speaking, social media, and novelties. Company pro- ceeds will help to provide scholarships for aspiring college students. Derek is the author  of #Ap2w, Always Play to Win, a collection of his quotes and thoughts. He is a pioneer and expert  presenter  in the effective use of social media for talent recruitment and engagement. More than 40K people connect with him through social media platforms.   He is also an assistant football coach at Duke University. His  passion for  coaching,  competing athletically, and mentoring through positivity cover three decades.   He and his wife Naketa are involved in multiple charities and are passionate about helping to change the lives of others.   Although Derek is vested into his career and company, being a great husband and father are top priorities.
