Dr. Mark Lee Levine, BS, JD, PAP, Ph.D., LLM, has been a professor, real estate, tax, and business attorney, real estate broker, and investor for over 40 years. Levine is a full professor at the University of Denver, and served as Director of the Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management at University of Denver's Daniels College of Business for close to 20 years. He has also lectured throughout the world on topics including real estate, law, real estate investment, real estate securities and syndications, appraisal, estate planning, tax aspects of real estate transactions, liability, business law, the economy, and international real estate issues. Levine has been a consultant and real estate practitioner for more than four decades, with particular focus on international real estate transactions. He is one of the foremost experts in the United States on American and international real estate. Levine has traveled as an international delegation leader and consultant throughout the world. Many of his travels have taken him to China, including two Fulbright Grants to teach in China and consult on real estate issues. Levine is the official Liaison to China for the Appraisal Institute and for the international real estate organization, FIABCI. A distinguished author, Levine has written 22 books (with over 30 new editions), and published more than 300 articles. He holds real estate or related designations, certifications and licenses that include, among others, CCIM, CRB, CPM, DREI, GRI, ALC, MAI, SREA, CRE, CA-C, SRS, CIPS, GAA, CLU, ChFC, Cert.
