The Hat Man – Fathers’ Transgressions – State of Idaho vs. Noel Snow, Case Number CR-91-08467C, is the second book in my autobiography of insidious sexual victimization. This book is just a birds-eye view of the effects of a destructive lifestyle of the ‘anywhere’ child’s formative years. This life was my ‘normal’; I knew nothing else. My book, Red Bird Phoenix – One Woman’s Story of Breaking the Cycle of Matriarchal and Family Sexual Abuse and Violence started the journey of my childhood story. There was no escape route available. Being sexually abused conditions children to be fair game for exploitation by predators for their rest of lives. I fled my childhood home at eighteen to attend business school, but my social ineptness and limited psychological understanding followed me to college. I tried to better myself through education, jobs, and ministry. I opted to live a life of mercy and grace. Unfortunately, I met and married Noel C. Snow just nine hours short of college graduation and student teaching. He fit the profile of my past as he exhibited familiar behavior fitting into my comfort zone of understanding. I didn’t know the extent of his abuse or that he was also damaged goods. He chose to destroy our children, our marriage and many other lives. Noel opted for the darker side of life being spoon fed poison by his past through his family’s control, intentionally carrying on as a sexual predator. In sharing my story, I have connected the dots of my life, the dirty, the bad and the ugly so the reader may get an insider’s view of the carnage of sexual abuse – and hopefully understand one of the most ingrained rampant bastions of evil in our society – and the need to eradicate this societal cancer – incest, rape, and domestic violence.
