Synopsis
This, my third book, is the only detailed publication to list and describe all of the 'swop and swivel' plastic figures issued by TIMPO Model Toys between 1960 and 1979. It is an A4 size soft back book containing 126 pages of information with colour pictures. Each series of figures is dealt with in detail in its own section of the book with photographs of the soldiers, etc. Also many sections contain descriptions of the accessories produced by TIMPO to accompany the figures. The book begins with my introduction and is followed by a history of Model Toys written by Norman Tooth the TIMPO figure designer. After this is the first section covering the American War of Independence soldiers and then the sections continue through to the Vikings. Buildings, castles, forts, vehicles and train sets are also covered.
