Synopsis

The old Victorian house full of secrets from the past stands tall with a wraparound front porch. Pieces of furniture from the past remain in the old house, some behind locked doors. A key for the attic door is missing barring others from entering. Why was the door left locked? What are hidden secrets behind the locked door? A trunk mysteriously appears on the front porch of the old house. It resembles one in a picture hanging on the wall in Lilly’s room. Could it be the same trunk? Where is the trunk key? Then tragedy strikes the old house. Friends and family come to the rescue but what of the secrets of the old house. Lilly thinks she and her persnickety cat, Franklin will have plenty of time to discover the secrets of the old house. Will they have the courage to do what it takes to do the discovering?

Rose E. Oliver is married with five children, and has five grandchildren. She is a Juvenile Probation Officer and has worked in the Juvenile Justice system for over twenty years. She is the author of a book entitled Never Forsaken a book about life growing up in foster homes.
