Synopsis

GRANDPA’S MAGIC CARPET & THE FIRST CHRISTMAS By Ranny Grady The idea of worship and celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ has become increasingly more difficult for Christians to enjoy the ‘Reason for the Season’ in America as Atheists continue to use our legal system to stifle this celebration in the public arena. Many merchants have told their employees not to say: “Merry Christmas”; but, to offer a “Happy Holiday” so not to offend the unbeliever. Schools, under pressure by the A.C.L.U, have stopped having Christmas programs. O’Grady Publishing Company proudly announces the publication of the second book in the Grandpa’s Magic Carpet series: GRANDPA’S MAGIC CARPET & THE FIRST CHRISTMAS. It is a fun filled magic carpet Christmas Eve ride to visit Santa at the North Pole. Many wonderful surprises await Grandpa and the kids as Santa provides them with a ‘Personal’ tour of Santa’s factories and they meet some elves workers. Santa shares secrets that endure him even more to the children, and they are stunned to learn Santa knows Jesus, too. Before the gang returns home to celebrate Christmas with family, via ‘Time Travel’, they witness the birth of Christ; and, Santa teaches them valuable lessons about the celebration of Christmas. The book is filled with 26 full-color illustrations; includes a Dictionary to help children enjoy reading the story and understanding it better, and is a Chapters Book suitable for Elementary students. It is over-sized so the print is larger and easier to read…especially for parents to their younger children. The unique and colorful designed cover will make each child want to climb aboard Grandpa’s magic carpet and go along for the fantastic ride.
