God built her to withstand the storms of life. Victoria Manuel-Hogan is no stranger to rainy days. She was born in Kentucky, raised in Indiana, and hails from a generation where children were seen and not heard. Victoria used her hidden talents to journal her inner thoughts and feelings. This became the determining factor in Victoria becoming an author. Writing was her way of expressing herself. If you know her, then you know that she always has a lot to say. Losing her mother at the age of four caused her great-grandmother to be her new example. Victoria developed wisdom and insight which reached far beyond her age. The daily prayer meetings and Bible teachings helped her develop the spiritual relationship that she has with God. She is a passionate matriarch because of the influence that her great-grandmother had in her life. Victoria has touched the lives of many. She is a loving mother, grandmother, adopted mother, big sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to an infinite amount of grateful recipients. Her dedication to helping and inspiring people around her has been outstanding. She is known for finding a way where there seems to be no way. She is an accomplishment in this thing called life. Victoria Manuel-Hogan is a published author. Her accomplishments include the book, When I Realized That I Would Never See You Again, due to be released in June 2015. In 2009, her poem, Gone But Not Forgotten, was published in the book of poems entitled, Famous Poets of the Heartland. She has also written numerous children’s readers and an autobiography entitled, Aawww I’m Tellin, to be released at a later date. To know her is to love her and in return you receive unconditional love that will forever change your life. Many tribulations delayed her plight to write, but she wants people to understand that even a late start can lead to a triumphant ending. Submitted by: Shelley Clanton and Antonio Thomas
