Synopsis

I remember once talking to a psychiatrist, John Ryder, who was also a man of deep prayer. I asked him what was the cure for suffering, specially emotional suffering. “Love,” he replied. At the time I was very ill both emotionally and physically. However, prayer allied with the experience of kindness of others, started me on a journey of healing. I offer these meditations as an expression of love to anyone who suffers either mentally or physically so that they might know they are not alone, also to share the love I experienced. I took the title “Love Rescue Me” from a U2 song, on the “Rattle and Hum” album. On the same album U2 declared “I believe in love” and “I believe in God” (God Part II).
