Have you ever wondered, "Just what is over the next hill?" As Charlie traveled around the United States, Spain, Rome, and Australia, he wondered the same thing--so he looked. And then he wrote about what he found, in this collection of true short stories. From truck driver to tourist, Charlie experienced a variety of traveling encounters and wrote about them, along with hints for travelers that will make their experiences less frustrating and more enjoyable. For instance, what does one do when in a foreign country in which he does not speak the language and is trying to buy a bus ticket from a ticket agent who refuses to issue him a ticket? Or what about the time an elderly woman comes up and simply starts yelling? And just what is a backpacker's hostel? Is it better than a hotel? Is it cheaper? Also, have you ever considered umbrella wars?
