Most of the notes were taken from my own marginal notes in many Bibles used through 40 years of ministry. Introductory notes on each section and book of the Bible add utility for your own deepening understanding of God's Book. Credit is given to notes from other sources. This work is not called a "study Bible" since it does not include a copy of the Scriptures, so it is a reader's guide to accompany your reading of your Bible.

Dr. Bill Smallman has been a Bible teacher for most of his life: in a seminary in Brazil, as an adjunct professor of Missiology in several Baptist seminaries in America, and in adult Bible classes in churches.
