Synopsis

The Very First 6 Days by Tony Funderburk

Discover the wonder of creation in this joyful, rhyming celebration of God's power and love!In the beginning, your living, loving God spoke—and everything came to be.

With just His word, He created the heavens and the earth in only six magnificent days.

Light burst forth on Day 1.
The sky and seas took shape on Day 2.
Dry land appeared, bursting with grass, trees, and plants on Day 3.
The sun, moon, and twinkling stars filled the heavens on Day 4.
Birds soared through the air and fish swam the oceans on Day 5.
On Day 6, land animals roamed the earth, and God formed the first man and the first woman in His own image.

All of this happened—not because He had to, but simply because it pleased Him.

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

Tony Funderburk (aka Mister Tony) has been writing and singing about faith, hope, and love for most of his life. Tens of thousands of families have enjoyed his live shows as well as his CD releases. Tony's books and music for kids can be found in homes all across America and in a variety of other countries. Tony's voice has often been compared to Kenny Loggins...and his writing style has been compared to Dr. Seuss, Shel Silverstein, and Max Lucado. His writing life began with a Bic pen, a stack of spiral notebooks, and his mom's very old upright piano. He'd write some lyrics, bang out some awkward chords on his mom's untuned, old upright piano, and bingo! Songs. He had to memorize them all because he didn't have any way of recording. Back then, studios were too expensive for the average singer songwriter. So...the words and music lived in his head...except for the scribbled chords above the lyrics he kept in those notebooks. Tony transitioned his singer songwriter skills into full-time work as a professional musician for many years. During that time he also wrote and produced jingles for radio and eventually website commercials. These days Tony writes and produces songs and books in his own digital micro studio in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Explore Tony's family friendly rhymes, songs, and stories here on Amazon and on his website. Tune in to "Mister Tony's Messages" and get a free ebook and 3 free songs for kids. In Mister Tony's world you can always... * soar into blue skies * sail friendly seas * explore rainbow forests * hike magical mountains * and dream all the way up to smiling moons and stars With faith, hope, and love!
