She wears many hats as an author, motivational mentor, and entrepreneur. Freda’s writing career spans forty years. Her publications include: books, magazines, articles, blogs, and award-winning poetry. She is the wife of Dr. Norman Chaney, mother of artist Vicki Lowery, and proud grandmother of Carter and Genevieve. Freda and her husband share their historical home with their spunky fur friend, Rocky, who looks remarkably similar to George Eliot’s dog, Ben!
