Synopsis

Meadow had no idea she was a changeling. Even though she hadn’t discovered her magical talents yet, was at least a foot taller than everyone she knew, and had nightmares where she saw yellowed eyes and teeth almost every night, she just thought she was different. The meeting with the gypsy changed all that. Once she discovered the truth and the only way to leave the Fairy Realm before her upcoming sixteenth birthday was to be rescued by other humans, she found humans in need and bargained with them: she would help them if they would come safe her from being enslaved by Queen Tatiana. Will Meadow be able to help the humans? Will the humans keep their word and come safe her or will she become the queen’s next servant?

À propos de l'auteur

Heather Hamel is an author, horse trainer, and teacher. While working her way through college to be a teacher, she discovered a passion for storytelling, and became a ghost tour guide in the historic and haunted town of St. Augustine, Florida. After teaching for a few years, she felt something was missing from her life. That something was horses. Growing up with horses made Heather feel confident she was up for the challenge that a wild mustang named Kobi would bring. She learned quickly that when you own horses you become a part-time vet, part-time nutritionist, and full-time equestrian. As Heather continued to teach people and horses, she could not shake her love of storytelling. Today, she herds words, horses, students, and still finds time to tutor students with dyslexia. Heather has published numerous on-line horse articles, and five middle grade novels. Murder of Crows focuses on her love of history, ghosts, and storytelling, while Kobi: Memoirs of a Mustang is all about her beloved horse, and his trials with trying to understand humans and recently finished a novella about Kobi’s pasture mate, Sugar. Heather is also starting to release her four book crypto-zoology series. Within Emerald Forests, Under Sapphire Skies and Beneath Diamond Waters are already published while Across Ruby Fields is scheduled for release on January 18, 2016. Not slowing down one bit, she is editing and revising the sequel to Murder of Crows, which is titled Destruction of Wild Cats.
