These images are hard to explain; a traditional figure study celebrated through the application of things such as flowers, rast, walls, leaves, paintings and clouds. I find the contrast between the two worlds interesting and surreal.

Michael Tilton Williams was born in 1952 in Oakland. California. He became a professional photographer in his late 20’s after falling in love with Susan Williams. They married and started a family in1986. Soon after they opened Albany Arts Gallery in San Francisco’s North Bay. Together they ran the gallery for 26 years. Michael has been mountianeering and photographing the Sierra and Himalaya for nearly 50 years.
