Charles Nothe is a lifelong Romaphile. His four years of Latin and the translating of Caesar's commentaries has led him to a life of interest in Ancient Rome. His first book Proscriptii chronicles Sulla's proscriptions. The First King of Rome depicts the story of the tumultuous beginnings of Rome by its founder, Romulus. He lives in West Melbourne, Florida with his wife Jeanne.
