Many children of god are so deeply exercised on the matter of guidance that it may be helpful to give a few suggestions as to knowing the way in which our Father would have us walk, and the work He would have us do. The importance of the subject cannot be exaggerated; so much of our power and peace consists in knowing where God would have us be, and in being just there.

À propos de l'auteur
Frederick Brotherton Meyer (1847-1929) was a British Baptist pastor, evangelist, and devotional writer widely respected in the evangelical world of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Serving congregations in Leicester and London, Meyer became known for his thoughtful sermons, spiritual counsel, and numerous devotional books. His writings-including The Secret of Guidance, The Secret of Communion, and The Secret of Success-emphasize practical Christian living, personal holiness, and attentive reliance upon God's direction.
