Sharon Sanches is a graduate of San Diego Christian College (B.A. Counseling Psychology) and Bethel Seminary (M.A. Marriage and Family Therapy). She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and has worked with children, individuals and families who are affected by trauma and abuse for over 12 years through non –profit organizations including: The San Diego Rescue Mission, the Center for Healing Childhood Trauma and Bilingual Family Counseling Service, Inc. Sharon is author of Flexi Bility: A Superhero In my Brain (2015, Tate Publishing) and has created therapeutic resources and interventions in her clinical work which are designed to engage families in expression and healing. She provides clinical supervision and professional trainings in the areas of treating abuse and trauma, parenting, effective play therapy and best practices in the counseling field. Sharon has served as an adjunct- faculty member for Argosy University and developed a lay counseling program for a non-denominational church.
