Synopsis

Four hundred years have passed since the appearance of Jesus Christ to the Nephites. Moroni and his daughter, Naftiah, have survived the almost total annihilation of the Nephite civilization by Lamanites. They hide in a cave housing sacred records while Moroni completes the secular and religious history his father had begun. When the record is completed, they will leave the killing fields and hide the record according to God's wishes. The two are soon separated by fate and their lives take directions far different than they had ever imagined. FINAL JOURNEY follows Moroni for twenty years as he makes his way to the location where the Lord wants the sacred record hidden and Naftiah as she travels an entirely unexpected path.

George Rosenberg grew up in Miami, Florida. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. He received his MD degree at the University of Louisville, and completed his specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology at Penn State University Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He served three years in the U.S. Public Health Service in Texas and Oklahoma and has been a practicing physician in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area for over twenty-five years. Dr. Rosenberg served a two year LDS mission in Sweden, and has since held several leadership positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints including bishop and stake president. George and his wife, Wendy are the parents of eight children and numerous grandchildren. FINAL JOURNEY is his first novel
