À propos de l'auteur

Kevin Brady was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, on Dec. 12, 1967. He lived there until age twelve when his family picked up and moved to Statesboro, Georgia in 1980 due to his parent's desire to move to the country to the place his dad originated from. He then relocated to Brooklet briefly once his parents found a nice rental there, but moved again back to Statesboro when they found a fixer upper house and had it moved to a spot of land that they had purchased. There, he attended Statesboro High School and graduated in 1985. He later graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1998 after taking a seven year break and returning in 1995 to complete his education. He got the bug for writing like he had as a kid once he attempted to write a story for a Halloween contest in the local newspaper, The Statesboro Herald. He kept adding this and adding that to the story and wound up with over 175 pages once the contest was long over. He attempted to publish this work once it was finished in 2000, but was quoted a price of $7,700.00 by Dorrance Publishing in Pittsburgh, PA, so he asked for his manuscript back in the mail and then put writing on the "back burner" while he did other things like car sales and helping his wife run her own daycare during which he started several other books on yellow legal pads in the process over the years. The idea to write "Ghostly Encounters" originated as a way of finally putting to rest a request to write about the actual happenings in his parents' old house that had inspired his fiction novella that he had tried to publish with Dorrance called "A Helluva Home." A friend had suggested to him to write about the actual happenings in a book as opposed to creating homemade ones in "A Helluva Home." He is the eldest of five siblings with one half brother and one half sister. He is married with a son, daughter-in-law, and two cute little grands. He loves to fish; play golf; look at old cars; watch good movies, especially scary ones; be with family and friends; grill; go to yard sales; eat; watch ghost documentaries and hear ghost stories.
