Human existence evolves in an environment of complex adaptive systems, the most important of which is the human brain itself. In order to thrive as a species, we must become more familiar with the behavioral dynamics of complex adaptive systems, and in particular how our brains work. This book is oriented toward that end, while also providing a methodology for generating more creative and strategic thinking, especially within our organizations.

Peter Schuller spent his professional career as a lawyer, corporate executive, entrepreneur, investment banker, and management consultant. In 2007 he founded the Institute for Applied Theory and Science and spent the next six years doing research in neuroscience, complexity science, Information Theory, and network science. The New World of Networked Thinking is a product of that research. Having grown up in Beirut, Lebanon and travelled to more than 40 countries, for work and pleasure, he has adopted a cross-cultural, global systems approach to the challenges of organizational development. Additionally, he has recently published Redeemed in Time and Space, the last book of a trilogy that delves into many of the fascinating questions surrounding human existence and the systems dynamics that give rise to them.
