The book was first published during World Autism Awareness Week 2015. Fiona Reeves lives in Manchester, UK with her husband Mark and two children. Her son was diagnosed with autism when he was 6 years old, and this has inspired Fiona to write some books to help him. Fiona wrote this book to explain her son's Autism to him and his friends in a factual way rather than a story about a specific character with very specific symptoms, as Autism isn't like that. Her second book, 'The Children's Guide To Things People Say (but don't really mean)', is all about UK sayings / metaphors / idioms / phrases people use that aren't meant to be taken literally. It was published on Amazon in August 2016. Fiona has primarily worked as a Software Engineer and Website Developer.
