À propos de l'auteur

Azalea Ælfric resides in the body of a woman near you! She studied Poetry and Drama at the University of East Anglia, England, and enjoys the lyrics of artists such as Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Joan Baez and Kate Bush. Azalea composed a book of poetry entitled Maiden, Mother, Other following the birth of her two children and her survival with entrenched post-natal depression through their early years. Following her divorce in the summer of 2014 she experienced a chance encounter and unexpected romance which is told in Postponing The Crone, and then continued here in Sweet Reprieve. Azalea survives the heartbreak of this ending and further tales of her recovery and adventures are told in Emotional Whiplash and Up Next. Azalea has also compiled her personal favourites from the four poetry volumes in this series in a fifth volume entitled Cut Short. For readers interested in the context of these poems there are four context books entitled Either Ways Yours, Further More Yours, Finally Mine and Soul Searching which give the prosaic context of the same story, primarily through text messages, emails and prose.
