Dayo Sowunmi II is a Project Leader, Human Rights Supporter, Speaker and Entrepreneur. He has successfully led dozens of teams and multi-million dollar initiatives globally, consistently delivering value and positive results for his partners and clients. His work on the people-side of project leadership has received international acclaim and published in several international publications, including pm4success.com (UK), Boston University (USA) PM Mundo (Brazil) and Gestion de Projet (Luxembourg). He has presented at Australian and international conferences, speaking on topics including leadership, entrepreneurship, healthy eating, marketing and the use of technology in business. He is a Certified Practitioner in MSP (Managing Successful Programmes), PRINCE2 project management and ITIL, and holds a Master’s degree in Knowledge Management. In 1999, he founded his consulting company, The Anode Group, which he still runs today. In 2017, he launched LeadershipIsMental.com to showcase his leadership development practice. He loves music and chose purple as his company’s corporate colour, in honour of his favourite musician, Prince. He is actively involved in volunteer work, and has been involved with Amnesty International in Nigeria, UK and now Australia. Dayo lives in Melbourne with his wife and daughter.
