Because the author is a teacher based in Cameroon and has been teaching in secondary schools in Cameroon for more than two decades, special focus has been given to the Cameroon GCE Ordinary level Mathematics 570, the WAEC and the CGSE syllabuses. This 630 pages book covers elaborately almost all the work from form One to Five and more. It is the wish of the author that students from poor countries such as his, should be able to obtain and use just a single book per discipline throughout the secondary school. In these way issues of children failing to do assignments because of lack of textbooks will be illuminated.Concepts, skills, how and why they work are well explained and illustrated. Many recently introduced topics such as logic, networks and flow diagrams have been well treated. An attempt has been made to use mostly real life examples drawn from West and Central Africa especially Cameroon for which the book was originally intended to be used. Names of persons are local names from the English Speaking regions of Cameroon. However, these names do not in anyway distort or change the subject matter. The book contains: • Many graded examples and exercises. • Many structural and essay type questions for revision and practice. • Many multiple choice exercises. • A detailed glossary of most of the technical terms used in the book. • An index to facilitated quick references of the sub issues discussed in the book. • An appendix on the use of the scientific calculator at the secondary school level. Nji Emmanuel Ndi was born on 01-01-1970 in Ntundip, a village in Ndu Subdivision in Donga/Mantung Division. His father is Nji Fai Bondi. His mother is Wibaa Agatha Yengeh. Nji Emmanuel Ndi attended his primary Education in Gvernment School Ntundip from 1973 to 1978 then continued in Presbyterian School Nkambe from 1979 to 1980 where he completed and obtained the FSLC and common entrance. He then went to Bui College of General Education in September 1981. in 1983 he transferred to Government High School Kumbo where he obtained the GCE Ordinary Level in 1986. In September 1985 he went to Government High School Nkambe where he studied Science and obtained the GCE Advanced Level in 1988 in three subjects. Though he passed the Examination in three subjects, he still repeated it because he failed in Physics for which he was recorded the best student for his two years in G.H.S. Nkambe. In 1989 he obtained the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level in all the four subjects including Physics and equally passed the entrance examination into the Higher Teacher's Training College (E.N.S. Annex Bambili) from where he completed in 1992 with the Diplôme de Professeur de l'Enseignement Secondaire Premier Grade (DIPES 1). He was then posted as mathematics teacher to Government High School Fundong in Boyo Division where he worked until in 1999 when he was transferred to Government Secondary School Kedjom-Keku in Mezam. In 2000 he was transferred to Government Secondary School Obang in Mezam where he worked until he was transferred in 2004 to Government High School Mankon now Government Bilingual High School Mankon where he is presently working. From time to time he is invented by the Mathematics Teacher’s Association (MTA) to participate in the organization of the GCE Regional Mock Examinations or to act as a resources person during in-service seminars of Mathematics Teachers. Nji Emmanuel Ndi is also a musician and has trained many musicians in North West Region of Cameroon. His Musical names are Manuel Ndike. In 1998 he published a musical album entitlted “ARATA”. In 2006 he equally composed and published another musical album “Time won’t wait which was sung by his daughter Nji Yodeller Seipsip whose musical names are Yodel Ndike. In 2008 he published the book “Rudiments of Ordinary Level Mathematics”. “Complete Ordinary Level Mathematics Passport” is his latest publication and in a few more to come other publications by him will be available.
