Synopsis

Change is the only constant. Detectives Kate McAllister and Mike Stuart return to the streets of Chicago to hunt for a savage nocturnal killer, but are they searching for man or beast? Does Kate know more about these grisly attacks than she realizes? Their investigation may have to wait, though, because a new lead opens in an old case that forces them into a deadly showdown with a band of gunrunners.

Dirk I. Tiede was born in California, grew up in the Midwest, and cut his teeth as a graphic artist in Chicago. He holds a BFA in Commercial Art from Millikin University, and has been drawing comics for as long as he can remember. Creator of the series, "Paradigm Shift", he is a founding contributor to premiere comics portal Modern Tales.  His artwork is also showcased in Steven Winthrow’s books Toon Art: The Art of Digital Comics (2003) and Webcomics (2004), and has appeared in the documentary Adventures In Digital Comics (2006) as well as featured on the set of NBC’s Heroes. Dirk lives in the Boston area where he to works as an artist and freelance illustrator.
