'He alone who gains the youth, holds the future in his hands'. So said - Adolf Hitler, President of the NSDAP (Nazi Party) in 1922. Black Despair tells the story of one particular Hitler Youth. Taken from conversations held over a period of years in the 1960's. There is some what might be taken as 'adult content' from the adolescents point of view and some real battle scenes (taken from actual events) which could offend the gentler sensibilities. The author makes no excuse for presenting them here in the raw, pertinent as they are to this 'man's' personal story. Again the contents are a 'warning' from history. Black Despair - as it really was.
