Synopsis

The Homestead Act of 1892 brought thousands of people westward to find better lives. This story tells of two fictional people who did just that, found what they were looking for, and found each other in the process. The hard work and primitive living conditions did not stop them, instead it made them stronger. Henry and Emilia are typical of many of these people who were called "settlers". It is not a "love story", but it is a "story of love" for their work, family, the land, and each other.
