From buying the bike and training to tackling the heights of the Alps in near freezing temperatures to tarmac melting heat, this book follows my adventures riding over 1000 miles across the South of France. With no great knowledge of the French, their language and customs and totally alone with over 18 miles of ascent and no option but to do the distance in under three weeks, will I make it in time to catch the bus home? The author intends to use the royalties from this publication to further support Greyhound charities and the foster hounds in his care.
