Stella Morelli, a filmmaker of some renown, should have been just another name on his roster of patients. Stella, however, walked into his office with madness, mayhem, and an agenda. God, she explained, was temporarily out of commission. It was Stella's mission to put God back on his throne and she required his assistance. By the way, for this job, he would be working closely with Lucifer and the Archangel Michael, the entire world would be their theater of action, and forty-four people would have to be dead. Dr. Leo took a deep breath and stepped up to the plate, he became the recording secretary for this apocalypse.

D. L. Osment has invented a new genre - "Metaphysical Fantasy" - for her engrossing and thought-provoking third novel, DEATHMYTH. Her first novel, I CANNES, is an erotic novel, a fictionalized account of her true adventures at the Cannes Film Festival over the years. Its sequel - which continues the amorous romps of Lucy and Miguel - is SKETCHES OF SPAIN. Her latest film is 2014’s multi-award-winning SANDBOY, directed by Vittoria Colonna di Stigliano and executive produced by Julian Lennon. An award-winning screenwriter and film producer, she has a strong focus on international filmmaking. Her expertise led to an invitation from the American Film Institute to co-produce their short film, UBUNTU’S WOUNDS. Written and directed by South African Sechaba Morojele, this comment on post-apartheid South Africa won Best Short Film at the prestigious Pan-African Film Fest in LA, and screened at Cannes and Toronto. It was distributed by HBO. Osment was the American Associate of leBrocquy Fraser Productions where she consulted on scripts from 2005-2012. The Dublin-based company produced 2004’s Golden Globe-winning OSAMA shot in Afghanistan and winner of the Cannes Junior Palme d’Or. She was the American Production Coordinator for the documentary BURMA SOLDIER, distributed by HBO and winner of the 2011 Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary at the United Nations Association Film Festival. Among other projects, she consulted on THE FORSAKEN LAND by Vimukthi Jayasundara of Sri Lanka which won the Caméra d’Or at Cannes in 2006. In 1996, Osment wrote, produced and production designed ONE OF THOSE NIGHTS. It won The Diamond Halo Award for Best Feature Film at the Santa Fe Film Festival 1997, screened in Cannes 1998, and was one of the six films chosen annually for Robert DeNiro's Tribeca-Kodak First Look Series, the forerunner to his Tribeca Film Festival. She has been a professional writer since she was thirteen years old, first as a journalist, then as a screenwriter, now focusing on fiction.
