Synopsis

The Typewriter Sutra is the second book of poetry from Matthew Foley, a writer and teacher in Charleston, South Carolina. His previous works include a poetry collection, We Could Be Oceans, and a spoken word poetry album, What You Will Need in Class Today. Foley teaches English at the Charleston County School of the Arts and is the founder of Holy City Youth Slam, an organization in Charleston that teaches poetry and performance to local youth. The book was designed by fellow poet and graphic designer Marcus Amaker
