À propos de l?auteur

The authors, Rudy Browne and Matt Konar are artists living in the Sierra foothills. They met at an art group meeting and soon became the best of friends. They meet with other artists at least once a month to talk about art and the state of society-at-large at local coffee shops. They’ve dubbed themselves The Amigos. Rudy, after 30 plus years in public education as a teacher and an administrator, returned to his first love, painting. Since 2004 he has worked on Faces of Jazz, a portrait series of jazz musicians. A book by the same title is available from Amazon.com. He lives in Meadow Vista, CA with his wife Judith Ann, their dog, cat and two llamas. Matt’s art career began in the 2nd grade drawing WW2 airplanes and selling them for a nickel. Later, as with many artists, he had to find day jobs to support himself and his family. Among them were: pumping gas, painting houses and unloading trucks. Eventually his math and computer skills took him to Washington , D.C. as an operational analyst. In his heart, however, he was and is an artist. He enjoys story-telling and make-believe adventures with his grandchildren. He lives in Loomis , CA with his wife Denise.
