Synopsis

Thornton Mordecai Lathrop is a young West Coast snob who is certain that he is destined to become the greatest writer the world has ever known. His parents think he is insufferable, and, in an attempt to teach him a little humility, they pack him off to a vocational school in rural Wyoming. He doesn't like anything about Wyoming. Not the cold, not the rodeo culture, and certainly not the ski resort where he soon finds himself working as a bellboy. The only thing he does like is Layla, a devout vegan who refuses to fall for a carnivore like Thornton.
