Synopsis

I was once an extremists for conservative values. I committed grave acts of political idolatry, engaged in divisive rhetoric, and pledged allegiance to a flag over my faith. Not until running for Governor of Texas were my eyes opened to the damage and destructiveness of my political idolatry. As a Christian I want to confess the lessons I learned along the way and the corrections I received regarding Obama, the Tea Party, and God. We are not in a political battle. America is deeply engaged in a spiritual battle. While extremists on both sides trade divisive rhetoric and set up borders, we are losing the heart and minds of our people. Only love is powerful enough to overcome this enemy. Until we become "extremists" for love, we will continue to lose.

Lisa Fritsch is a social and political strategist and advocate for the underrepresented. She's been a social and political activist for nearly 15 years. Lisa was a talk-radio show host for over 12 years and a national radio and television commentator appearing regularly on Fox News Channel's "Glenn Beck," "Your World with Neil Cavuto," and Fox News 7. She has also appeared on MSNBC, CNN, BET, and Univision and has been featured and/or published in internet publications and newspapers such as The Huffington Post, The Daily Beast, Breitbart, The Blaze, The Dallas Morning News, The Washington Times, The Austin American Statesman, World Net Daily and many more.
