Synopsis

Getting older means a lot of things—like getting an AARP card in the mail, being called “ma’am” at the grocery store, and getting cold in July—but it doesn’t mean life is over!

While some might be in blissful denial about aging, I’ve Never Been This Old Before reminds us that life continues to have power and meaning…even as a senior citizen.

Author Marguerite Rocholl candidly shares her experiences as a senior, as well as how she and her husband continue to live full, fun lives.

From a humorous recounting of their annual winter migration to the Florida Keys to learning to schedule their doctor’s appointments during months ending in “ber,” Rocholl shares her memories with generosity, warmth, and grace.

Sixteen photographs, in Rocholl's award-winning style, conclude the story and prove that some things really do get better with time.

The years pass and life changes…but old age is really just another page in the fascinating book of life.
