The author lived at the epicenter of the Gordon and Ritchie family, in the House on Harrison Street, for ten formative years. She brings a unique perspective to the saga, combining stories she has heard with stories shared among the cousins. Bringing to the story an undergraduate degree in English and two masters degrees in secondary education, curriculum and instruction and secondary school administration, the author enjoys writing as a hobby. She is a regular participant at the Hemingway-Pfieffer Writers' Retreats, mentored by professional writers and published authors. She is retired and living in a small town in Arkansas.
