Synopsis

Sixty-Five is a collection of poems that follows the experiences of one woman, who explores the meaning of love, life, and God. Spanning more than six decades, the poet's heart shines through the dark times as well as the light. She probes the meaning of friendship and embraces the gift it is, even when more is desired. Through heartbreak and disease, her works reflect the abiding hope that has sometimes been hard to find.

À propos de l'auteur

Age sixty-five brought with it many major life changes for the poet, who was able to retire from her main occupation and calling. While engaging in this mainly left-brain activity, poetry offered Jae Dee a way to exam and express her feelings. It also helped her to see that through the decades, she has been blessed by the sure guidance of both a heavenly father and an earthly one.
