À propos de l'auteur

Born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri. Danie James is the youngest and only girl of three older brothers. She began writing poetry at the age of 13-years-old. She began to take interest in poets like Maya Angelou, Nikki Giovanni and Langston Hughes. Her Junior year of high school, Danielle pitched the idea for an entertainment column called, “Music Corner” for the U-Times paper at University City Senior High 1998-2000. She was involved in a number of student activities, including: Kinesis Dance Company, Coalition of Essential Schools, Teens Tutoring Youth and Junior ROTC. After graduation from U. City in 2000, Danielle enrolled at Benedict College as a Mass Communications-Broadcast major. During her time there, she was a contributing writer for Tiger News, spoken word artists for BCARTI Organization, dancer/choreographer for Harold Odom Dance Company and National Council of Colored Negro Women. She also founded and was President of the NABJ student chapter. Danielle also interned at WACH FOX 57 News, an affiliated on FOX Network. The producers were so impressed; they offered her a part-time job as a Camera Operator two weeks into her internship. In 2014, Danielle was also a contributing writer for Trumpet Magazine in Nashville, Tennessee. She has volunteered for two organizations in 2015. Read to A Child and Coalition of Temporary Shelters. After putting her dreams on hold for the past 8 years to focus on motherhood, Danielle has decided to pick back up where she left off. While she is not chasing her dreams of working in television, Danielle loves to watch horror films, listens to all kinds of music, go on road trips, musicals, the Ballet and eat pizza. Her favorite shows to watch are Jane the Virgin and American Horror Story. She is a huge Gwen Stephani fan because they shared the same birthdate and are 10 years apart. She has recently auditioned for an open call for a TV Host for WYMD-TV 20 December 2015. That same month, she signed a modeling contract with John Casablancas Modeling Agency in Plymouth, Michigan, in hopes of working in film/television as a model/actress.
