Synopsis

THE CALL TO BE DISCIPLES, NOT JUST BELIEVERS:Jesus calls His followers to do more than just believe and pray a prayer of commitment. Being a disciple requires, as the word suggests, discipline. Discipline and obedience are not popular topics, but following Jesus as He explained in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) means being taught to observe (obey) what He commanded. When we learn to do what Jesus said, we are more than just believers—we are truly His disciples. This book provides a “Top Ten” list of Jesus’ commands. The discipleship method used in this book involves incorporating these instructions into the life of a believer as acts of loving obedience. The follower of Jesus can expect this discipleship process to produce spiritual growth and miracle-working faith.
