Synopsis
Becky and Mack have always hated each other, and their animosity isn't diminished any when they are thrown together on a college newspaper project to interview an elderly film actor. At the height of his fame, Paul Wolfstead was known as The King of Horror famous for starring in bloodthirsty schlock horror movies, until he was sent to prison for killing someone during a party in the nineteen fifties. Descending into a life of poverty, but still living in the decaying splendour of Windchimes where the murder took place, he welcomes the chance to put the record straight, even if it is only for a story in a local college newspaper. But when Becky and Mack go to Windchimes, they find themselves catapulted into an adventure that is straight out of one of Paul Wolfstead's old movies - travelling back in time to when the murder took place, enabling them to solve the murder mystery - that's if they can get over their differences with each other first!With quirky movie references and vintage thrills and spills straight out of the golden age of the cinema, REEL TIME is a YA mystery romance that will leave you breathless for more - just like an old Technicolor movie on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
