Synopsis
It’s 1975. Gerald Ford is President of the United States. Ten years ago Marine Lance Corporal Gary Dusek was a guard at the American embassy in Manila when he fell in love with a young torch singer. Her gangland father objected, however. Corazon disappeared. Gary was sent to Vietnam. He never heard from or of her again. She was told he was killed in combat. Two years ago Dusek returned to the US embassy in Manila, this time as an intelligence analyst. All his efforts to find Corazon failed. Then he fell in love with and married the daughter of a major American contractor. Gary was on the verge of uncovering the American responsible for siphoning off millions of dollars in US aid and defense contracts, when he went on his honeymoon to Baguio. On their return trip, Gary and his wife were ambushed. She was brutally murdered before his eyes, and he was left for dead. Passing missionaries saved his life. He was sent back to the states for medical treatment. Now he’s back . . . on a suicide mission.
