Synopsis
There have been a great many books written for managers over the years in all shapes and sizes, so what makes this one different. This book has been written from firsthand experience. It is not huge, it doesn’t have pretty pictures and it is very simply laid out. What it does contain is my experience and knowledge built up over a lifetime of being a manager in businesses large and small. I have enjoyed the highs and suffered the lows that every manager goes through, I have been there. I know what works and what doesn’t. The result has been my considerable success as a manager and subsequently company director building teams of creative and successful people. Many of the people I have employed have gone onto successful careers in their own right running some pretty significant businesses. In this book I will endeavor to give you all the tools you need, to build great teams, building confidence and developing your people through effective coaching and I will show you how to be successful in your business. I will explain how to make the time to achieve this together with some aspects of management that you may not have come across before but are essential to becoming a great manager.
