Synopsis

Meet Eric Young, he’s a forty-something, nominally C of E, heterosexual male. He’s got a middle age spread, a bald patch, nostril and ear hair, halitosis, an ability to fart in tune with the national anthem, a propensity to shout at the telly, an overdraft that would embarrass the government of Greece, a soul destroying, loveless marriage and a job that keeps taking him down one dead end after another - literally. It’s fair to say that he isn’t having the best of times on his journey through life. He’s lost his way, but an unwise decision may take him in a new direction, and at least the driving doesn’t scare him. So make yourself comfortable and enjoy the ride; there’s lots of violence, sex scenes of an embarrassing nature, bad language, accounts of scary driving that readers of a nervous disposition may find distressing, a talking cat (sort of), advice on public toilet etiquette and shopping trip survival, gay traffic cops who haven’t had their lunch yet, dirty habits, awkward conversations, professional misconduct, a gaggle of female politicians, an observant spider, road rage and graphic descriptions of wanton fabric conditioner sniffing. You’d better buckle up!
