The universe is mostly made of dark energy, that accounts for 70 per cent of all that exists. But no one knows what dark energy is. In the future we hope we will learn the mystery of dark energy. But for now, we know one thing about cosmology: that we don’t really know anything at all. This pamphlet is a poetic response to this scientific fact: exploring the nature of knowledge; how we can know anything at all; what the weight of dark energy knowledge does to a cosmologist’s emotions; and faced with this fact what remains, or becomes, important in life. Cosmological concepts such as redshifts, and number sequences are touched upon, as well as the everyday routine of a scientist trying to understand an invisible and ubiquitous something that makes up most of reality.
