Synopsis

As Devon and David were playing in a field, a very dark storm quickly moved in from the north. They were playing with a ball and bat when suddenly they heard a loud boom and crack that knocked them both to the ground. The lightning had struck the aluminum bat Devon was holding. As Devon realized they had just survived a lightning strike, he grabbed the hand of his fallen brother David to help him to his feet. Seeing his younger brother bleeding from his nose and ears, Devon asked, “Are you ok?” “Yes, I’m fine,” were the last words his brother said as he turned to ashes and blew away in the wind.
