Synopsis

The story is set in England in 1894 on the Wirral peninsular in the county of Cheshire. Elliot Youngmay is a carters son who seeks a bit of adventure. He has never been further than a few miles from the grimy streets of his hometown on the banks of the river Mersey. When the time comes he decides to pack up and find a more exciting and better way of life. The decision he makes certainly gives him a life of adventure, but also true love. Something that he thought he wouldn't encounter until later on in life. His involvements in an unusual series of events which involve a fateful American, brings him in contact with the prime minister of the day, and through an array of dangerous situations; he is endowed with the title of "Hero on a Pushbike"
