Tom was born in 1910 in Hove, Brighton, just before the start of the First World War. This true story, written by his wife shows the struggles that he and his family endured. It was always their wish that this account be published for others to read, sadly they both died within a year of each other and their wish was never realised, until now, helped by their grandaughter and great grandson.
