Synopsis
Vodka Shots for the Bad Thoughts is a personal, inside look into the life of someone dealing with depression and other issues. Twelve (12) poems/flows giving only a piece of what one can go through when dealing with depression or other mental illnesses. Composed with others in mind, hoping to invoke emotions and the want to get better and not wallow in the darkness.Depression can affect anybody, regardless of age. The book is available to those 15 and up; however, if one wants their preteen to read it, do so with caution because some of the content may not be suitable for your children at this time. *****Not meant to trigger any individuals--as some content may hit home a little too hard--but to let those dealing with mental illnesses know that you can get help if it ever becomes over the top. Not meant to persuade anyone to succumb deeper into depression.*****It may be difficult to deal with, but know that there are others out there who feel the same as you do. You are not alone.
